Support for
Diverse Learners
We welcome children with a wide range of learning styles and needs. For many homeschool families—especially those with neurodivergent learners—hands-on, sensory-aware environments can make a meaningful difference.
Equine-assisted learning can substantially improve the social and behavioral functioning and language abilities of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
We support neurodivergent learners (e.g., ADHD, autism, sensory processing challenges) by offering movement-based, non-verbal learning experiences. We can also help support IEP and ABA goals for charter schools and school districts in San Luis Obispo County.
Physical Education Hours
Time with horses naturally supports homeschool physical education goals. Activities may include:
-
Grooming and leading
-
Arena games and obstacle work
-
Walking the property
-
Barn chores and horse care
-
Balance and coordination activities
-
These experiences keep children active while building responsibility and practical skills.
