Horse Powered Math

Help your child discover the joy of math with horses!

Horse Powered Math was developed by Nancy Lyon, an experienced educator at the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center. This unique program is based on the principles of Horse Powered Reading, developed by Dr. Michele Pickel, and applies them to math education.

Instead of traditional math tutoring, students engage in hands-on, ground-based activities using various toys and props to visualize and overcome their individual learning obstacles. This whole-body approach helps break through social, emotional, and behavioral barriers that may be affecting their ability to learn.

Marina is certified in the Horse-Powered Math curriculum. We are located close to the Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar, Menifee, and Lake Elsinore areas.
